Even though I'm a longtime fan, I confess to losing interest in this smooth jazz group twice over their long career (this was their 28th release). The first album that turned me off was 1990's Fast Forward, the second time was 2003's Original Cinema. I thought after Original Cinema I was done with the group for good, but when I saw this 2006 release in a used bin, I couldn't resist. I'm glad I picked it up. Good stuff and the beginning of a return to form that would be fully realized on their next release, Good To Go-Go. All is forgiven, guys.
Peak on the US Billboard Top 200 chart: Did not chart
Tracks: Spyro Time is a fun lead track. Also good are The Voodooyoodoo, After The Storm, The Lowdown, and Woogitybop. I'm not a fan of either Impressions Of Madrid or its companion piece, Impressions Of Toledo.
