I believe this was the first single the band released after Natalie Merchant left the band. Merchant's replacement, Mary Ramsey, has a pleasant voice. This is a cover of a 1982 Roxy Music single. While this isn't a bad cover, nothing compares to the Roxy Music original.

Peak on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart: #25 (Aug 30, 1997)

Tracks: A fairly straight ahead cover. There's also a Todd Terry remix which simply adds a little more dance percussion to the backing tracks. There's a third track, Beyond the Blue, that is okay, but isn't particularly memorable.

Personal Memory Associated with this CD: None. This is yet another CD single from 1997. I should keep a separate tally just for singles from that year.
