Plans for a biopic have been announced several times, but none have ever come to fruition. Maybe Bruno Mars is available?
Despite the album title, this compilation ain't "definitive" but it's about as good as you can get for a non-chronological, single disc, best-of package.
Peak on the US Billboard Top 200 chart: #64
Tracks: Can I complain about 21 tracks being too few?

*with The Miracles
Solo Top 40 hits that didn't make the cut: The Agony And The Ecstasy (#36, 1975) and Tell Me Tomorrow (#33, 1982). The Miracles with Smokey had 27 Top 40 hits on their own and those would make a helluva double disc compilation in itself. Better yet, he's placed around 70 hits in the R&B Top 40. But this compilation will do for now.
I tried to pick some favorite cuts here but once the list got to be over ten deep, I just gave up because my brain hurt.
Personal Memory Associated with this CD: Several (especially regarding Cruisin' and 8th grade) and I tried to write about some but once the list got to be over ten deep, I just gave up because my brain hurt. And prone to repetition, apparently.
